Leather Steering Wheel?

Do we have any options to fit our 2010 G Sedans with sports leather steering wheels? Any aftermarket companies that offer leather steering wheels for Infiniti? As much as I like the car, I miss a nice thick leather sports steering wheel. The plastic feel of our so called "leather wrapped" thin steering wheels does not match the rest of the luxury interior.

Nothing just "off the shelf" which is what it seems like youre looking for.

Theres plenty of companies that can take your steering wheel and do whatever you want to it.

Yup. I am looking for a bolt-on replacement leather steering wheel. It is odd to have a plastic one with a leather interior.

Would you be interested in CF top, flat CF bottom, and thick Alcantara grip steering wheel?

Thanks but I had Alcantara in my BMW and I prefer leather.

I believe it comes in leather as well. I'll try to post some pics soon.

Steering wheel on your blog looks nice. Was the original leather removed prior to CF and alacantra?

It does look very nice. I was very tempted! Original leather is removed but I don't believe it would make a difference because the entire girth of the wheel is thickened.

Sorry I didn't get to posting it here, thanks for taking the time to check it out.

I'm also interested in hearing about steering wheel options. I hate the feel of the stock wheel.

I don't want to replace the wheel (would cost too much), is there a decent leather wheel cover that gives the stitched look?

What's wrong with the stock wheel? How is it plastic?

Does not feel like other leather sports steering wheels like in the BMW, etc. It is not as thick and feels very generic.

Personally, I think Infiniti messed up with this steering wheel. The steering wheel is the one thing the driver has constant contact with (other than seats), and going the extra mile for a good and thicker leather feel would've added so much to the "luxury" experience for the driver.

Infiniti chose cheap leather and materials for the interior to cut cost, it doesn't match other luxury sedans like Lexus/BMW or of course Audi. I'm not sure how well this will look in a few years.
