First heavy rain and guess what?
First heavy rain and guess what?

I read about and I was thinking it will not happen to me. First heavy rain since I got my 4 month old G37x and both of mine site windows leaking water near to the small speakers. Leaks happened only while driving in heavy rain, not while parking. Very disappointing since water going into speakers as for anyone reporting this!!!
Anyway, anybody got success fixing this by dealer, if yes than please say how. Thanks!
The car should not leak in the first place. Therefor they should replace it no questions asked. The only reason I see the dealership not taking care of the situation is if you had tint done somewhere else.
Then again I feel like my dealership treats me a little better than some others ive read over the forums. Went into the dealership to have my first oil change done and when it was happening they drilled two holes in my front bumper and added a new spoiler with the camera on it for no reason. Didnt take much of raising hell to get the saleman who sold me the car to come down to the service department. once he showed up he went to the garage and brought me a brand new one. same color,6MT, and everything and all i had to do is sign paper work again to verify the new vin!!!
But back on topic you should be fine. If it damaged the speaker have them replace it as well, even though its water damage.

Very disapointing, I could get BMW 335 or A5 instead. No $ issue, I just like G look and power. Not anymore since simple water leak ...

Not every car is affected. If you don't have a leak, you are good. Mine did it for a few weeks, but I haven't seen it come back in over 9 months, so I haven't taken mine in.

Mine has had a couple of drops coming in maybe 3 times in 8 months after I washed it. It was so little that I haven't worried about it, yet. I had a 350 Z convertible that did the same thing.
Usually a TSB is issued for a corrective action or a preventative action of a common problem, meaning that the molding would be replaced with an upgraded part that will either correct a problem or prevent a problem from occurring.
So if the molding is leaking on my car, I would hope that the dealer would install an upgraded molding instead of just slapping on a new molding that is identical to the one that leaked in the first place. And if a new design exists, then it should already be on the new cars currently being built. That's why I was asking if the problem has been corrected. It seems that this problem is common enough that there should be a fix for it....
My issue didn't come until very heavy rain yesterday, car was parked all day outside with same rain on/off and nothing was wrong. It starts when I went on highway while same heavy rain. Small drops appeared on driver’s window/top of small corner speaker leaking inside speaker. After 5 min same happened with right window
After I went home I dried speakers with fan but that doesn't help me much with this new headache I got 4 month ago from Infniti.

I could hear wind coming in mine down by the speakers when I got it and it also leaked a few drops of water when I would wash it. Took it to the dealership and they adjusted the windows, no charge, and it hasn't done it since.....
Well, that's exactly what I'm trying to determine. If there's an upgrade part to fix it, great. If not, why waste the time going back to the dealer to have them install a new seal that will only fail again?
For the most part, TSBs do correct problems with upgraded parts. Take the muffler rattle problem for example....I'm sure the dealers were replacing the defective mufflers with exact replacements at first, at least until Nissan noticed a trend and then issued a TSB with an upgraded muffler part number that eliminated the rattling for good.
So does anyone that had had this TSB done know if it includes an upgraded seal or do they just put the same seal back in as a temporary fix?
