Problem with seat (not bubbling)

I noticed awhile ago the button to make my seat move forward stopped working.

Im talking about the button on the top shoulder part by the handle.

I know how to use it, pull the handle, fold the seat, push the button, and the seat is supposed to slide forward.

it used to work, passenger side still works, but my driver side stopped working.

Anyone else have this issue?

The last place i wanna go is the dealer, and id rather not get a new seat. My seat is perfect, no bubbling or anything, just this.

I dont think they would change out the entire seat for that. Maybe just the connection from the button to the electrical system.

They wouldn't change out the seat. At least I wouldn't think they would because to me it seems like a electrical problem.

I think they have to take the seat out and then they replace the switches. Dealeship Stoof is to much a Cheap A$$ to replace the entire seat. If they can fix it they will.

Yeah i gotta hit up kenny, but i really dont feel like going all the way out there.

I found on infinitipartsusa that piece is only 5 bucks haha. idk if that comes with the buttons though, i might just try and fix it myself.

if the techs get their hands on my car its gonna be over. lol like a kid in a candy store.

I have this very problem but on my passenger side. Did you ever find the solution to the problem?

^Way to search.

As long as all of the controls on the side work, I would say pop the switch off and check the connection on it. If you have a multimeter too, check for proper function. If not replace the switch.

I had encountered this before too, but i pressed on the button when i was inside the car on my driver's seat. I thought the button didn't work, then i fond out that for it to move forward, the passenger side door has to be open.. Are yours opened Stoof?
