Spoiler

I have a 2010 G37 Coupe without the spoiler.
Is the best way to get the spoiler that would have came with the car by going through infiniti place and paying like 500-600 or is there a place I can order the exact spoiler for less somewhere?

Best bet is just to buy the OEM spoiler from the dealer.

To install a spoiler requires drilling new holes in your trunk, safe and worry free to just let the dealer handle it. Plus you know the paint would be an exact match.

There are much cheaper knock offs but the fitment is never right and paint may not match.

I recently bought mine from:

OEM Infiniti Accessories & Replacement Parts Warehouse

And installed myself. It's a 2008 so not sure I would want to drill holes myself in something brand spanking new. Problem is can you trust the dealer? My guess they only warranty the spoiler install for one year. In my case, I KNOW I used all the right rust preventative and added some silicone myself to be extra careful of leaks/rust. Doubt the dealer would do that.

I would only go with OEM, others look like crap IMHO .... often to big and ricey.

going through dealer generally costs you 2 or 3 times the amount a performance shop charges. it's not like the dealers are specially trained on installing spoilers, there just regular guys who have access to the shop manual.

Not really sure what you are asking ....confusing wording. Are you looking for the chrome piece? What happened to the one on your car? Or did you buy the car and it had a OEM spoiler and now you want to install that hideous wing so you need the chrome piece because it shows?

The OEM spoiler will have a 19mm hole in the trunk lid far out at each end of the OEM spoiler. If you take it off there is no guarantee the wing will cover those holes. My guess is the only place to get that chrome piece is from the dealer are here.

sorry for not being clear , yeah i want to install that hideous wing =p its not that bad looking i saw it installed and i liked it .

The spoiler thats installed on my car is the one with the break lights the bigger spoiler . but the ones on the G35/G37 Sedans here get the small Chrome spoiler and thats what i want . and its not available there .

Holes were drilled in your trunk to install the painted spoiler. Sorry but you cannot install the other spoiler without serious work.

Well you might be in luck Lee. They FINALLY got the OEM spoilers in at the dealers around the country. I was thinking of getting one but am looking for somewhere I can get one wholesale. It's like 500 or so but comes pre painted and just needs installation. Anyways, I will have the extra chrome one then. Mine had (has) the integrated camera FYI.

The OEM's have been in stock for weeks now. I ordered mine on 4/12, it showed back-ordered for a few days then it shipped on 4/15, got it a few days later.

The problem is when Lee55 takes his OEM spoiler off, he is going to find two 19mm holes about half way where the chrome piece stops and the trunk edge. By the looks of that picture of the rice wing, that is not going to cover those holes so he is going to need some body & paint work done. I say just leave the OEM one and save the wing for the Fast & Furious crowd ....IMHO of course.
