Interior Light Rings - Purple?!
Just a quick question for ya'all...
I can't seem to figure out why my interior rings are purple; specifically around the navigation control and both the climate control *****. I KNOW that when I first turned them on (picked up car last night) that they were BLUE. Also figured that since they were ALL purple as apposed to just one or two...it wasn't a "malfunction". Anyone? Thanks all!

I'm guessing the artificial lighting at the dealer threw off the hue a bit. Yes, they have that purpleish glow. I think it looks really good, but if you decide you hate it I'm sure you can have it changed if you have enough $$. Just find someone that likes to solder a lot of LEDs.

You do know that for 2010, the rings in the gauge cluster (i.e. the two inside the speedometer and the tachometer) are blue rather than violet right? I think they changed it when they changed the style of the gauges for 2010. The center analogue clock is now a whitish glow rather than blue. The ***** on the radio interface remain violet as it is the color of the royalty in Japan.

The blue dash rings appear purple with the headlights off, but when you turn on the headlights they change to blue. Ironically, the center radio rings are purple when the gauge lights are blue...
