Some curious questions

I have seen some people change fog lamp bulbs to produce white/blue color. I was wondering for those of u that have done this have you noticed that you can drive at night with just fog lamps? Im just wondering how much does the fog lamps illuminating properties change when you change to something like PIAA bulbs. Same question for those who change their Parking Lights (aka city lights).

Bluer bulbs produce less usable light, not more. Yellower lights produce more usable light. The car cannot be driven with only the fog lights on, the low beams have to be on to use the fog lights.

Agreed. Not safe to drive with just fog lights at night. For more info on lighting, in general, Daniel Stern Lighting is a great resource. Lots of good info on pros/cons of different types of bulbs, etc...

I have noticed that my new 6000k bulbs produce a very wide range of light. I can read street names on dark streets much more easily and all around the car is illuminated.

Are your 6000k H1? What brand and model is it.
