So, I'm thinking about doing the TS lip and having it molded in. I've been looking around and it seems like people are pretty pleased with 180 Custom's TS-P version of the TS lip. Any additional thoughts from those that have it? Has it held up? If you could do it over again, would you have done it the same way?

Is there another place to look for this or is 180 my best option?

I must admit, I'm a newb to body kits.

 

If you want polyurethane (which i think is better), then 180 is the only place to go. I'm not sure about it's fitment though. You might want to ask people that has them about it.

The original TS lip is fiberglass, which is prone to cracking. Fitment is probably 99.9% or better. Bulletproof and Swatperformance are TS dealers that I know of.

If you're having it molded in, then it can be made to fit I believe even if it wasn't 100%

No, I haven't. I have a friend of the family though that does body work on the side, so I'll likely have him do it. I don't expect he'd charge me that much, but will have to leave my car with him for a bit so that he could help me with fitment. I wanna make sure I do this right.

TS-P is supposed to be pretty good fitment from what i've seen/heard.

AIT makes a full TS bumper already molded made of FG. I've heard the fitment isnt as great but can easily be made to at least 98% perfect fitment depending on the shop you take it too and how well they work with FG.

 

^ Good point... So I may be better off just getting the AIT and having the fitment correct. That way I will preserve my OEM Sport bumper.

Where's the best place to get AIT?

I've seen Matt's (Choy Boy) 180 TS lip and fitment is great, and if you're molding it it won't take much work to make it seamless.

 

perfect fitment on mine. my paint guy even commended it.
