Do to a traffic collision my car (G37S coupe) is in the shop and repair and my mechanic has offered to refinish my rims (they were damaged too) to whatever I'd like. From you experiences do rims that are refinished matte black ( I have the 19' stock rims) generaly look pretty good?

I think they look good. The only thing is the show dust and dirt a little more than other finishes but no big deal IMO.

 

Thats odd I thought the none glossy matte finish would make it look clean even when it is dirty... either way I like the way matte rims look i was just wondering if my having them refinished they could look that good.

 

Just re-powdercoated my 19's matte black. They are sex.

My only gripe about matte black is that it is very hard to get water spots off once it dries.
