Different Left and Right Headlights?

My 09G37xs has two different headlights. The left projects a
distinctive purpleish light and the right appears slightly green
compared to the left. The contrast and color difference
was hardly noticible last fall, but now with all the white
stuff, it's much more noticible and even distracting.
Any thoughts? Perhaps a bulb replacment by dealer after
shipping damage? Surely not factory is it? Thanks

Don't believe it would be factory. Sounds like defective color temps of the bulbs, I'd let the dealership worry about it, unless you want to change it out yourself to 6000K or something.

the only difference between the two should be that the right is higher than the left (alignment).

They should be identical in height. The right half of each projector's beam should be higher due to the shield. This is normal.

the left headlight points a little lower than the right to prevent blinding incoming traffic.

It points lower due to the nature of a projector lens, not to prevent blinding oncoming traffic.

This is a picture of ONE headlight. Projectors, like the one on the 2nd gen G, project a beam like so.
