Why can the spoiler be made to extend further out and less up? I think that would look alot better

It would pretty much look like you added the OEM spoiler on which I can't stand. I personally hope it looks just like or close to the G35 Dori luxe trunk.

thats exactly what I said acouple most above; the lip needs to be a bit steeper and it would look pretty dam sick!

The trunk is probably going to cost around $600+, ide be more interested in that style spoiler not even the trunk.

 

for people that are inquiring how a trunk with cf lip loooks, i've linked a picture of the g35c one below

basically the entire lip has been cf and its up to you to determine how much cf you want exposed when it goes in for paint.

for people that are concerned with how the trunk will look, all i have to say is DONT WORRY, i would never release a product that i will not put on my own car. the design of the trunk is still in the works, but i can guarantee you that when it's finished, it will be a clean classic piece. kris and i have spent countless hours on designing the g35 sedan trunk. we are very picky, up to the very smallest hairline detail. so dont worry, you guys are in good hands =)

 

i was thinking about that too. i think that's why infiniti put that chrome finisher on the g's, if it was all one color, the back up camera/trunk button would look kind of out of place, dont you think? at least with the carbon fiber, it will hide the camera alot better.

The HikkataDori trunk style is ok. But I like the MG2 trunk style much more. Much more agressive.

everyone has their own personal preference, the mg2 trunk is nice, but aggressive is not really our style. we're aiming for a clean, classy look.

 

The hikkatadori trunk looks sick on G35c but our lines are different on the rear, I don't know how well this style would flow with our taillights and back end.

Make a prototype and take some pictures, then we can really tell what it would look like.

 

The MG2 trunk looks awesome but I going for a clean look with CF hints here and there to add some sportiness. I think Hikkatadori will be trunk for me if it comes out the way I'm picturing it.
