P.S Even if a paypal claim was filed. If we can show paypal how soon the order was placed they would give us time to deliver the product since that’s the way things go. You order something, sometimes you cant just take it back unless you personally have been waiting a long time or find the product is no good. Like I said I would refund I just need to wait until we can.

So you're saying people who ordered/deposited money can't get a refund because you don't have their money to return to them? Or am I reading this wrong? Please clarify.

It depends on the refund. If we are clearly at fault we will do our best to gather the money if we don’t have enough to refund. We are not a big company like many believe. We operate in a 2 - 3 car space shop because we don’t have the money to move anywhere better and we cant refund people and leave our accounts dusty. In this case since the refund was because the customer made an error on his side and found out after everything was all ready settled its difficult to do so since the money has been already put into the project. Because we are not to blame in this situation and since we are so small we cant just refund the money asap. This requires us to work with the customer until we both reach a satisfying agreement. Any other company would agree if you are in our situation, a customer places an order and there is no issue what so ever. Then out of the blue the customer wants his money back for personal reasons.

Its like buying a car and then saying I have to get my money back because I want to buy a boat instead. I mean a much larger scale but you guys can see where I am coming from.

If you pay for a car and change your mind before you pick up the car you can get your money back...so that example actually proves what everyone else has been saying...

If you're going to have a business going you shouldn't only have funds based on the people that order. IE if someone asks for a refund you shouldn't have to wait until someone else places an order to refund them...

Professional companies/business should have "Refund Policies" that need to be made clear before making the purchase or going through with a deal. I'm not aware of Spawn's refund policy (if any) but this seems to be a matter of miscommunication and both sides should give in a little and cut each other some slack to help get this resolved.

I'm not aware of Spawn's history and won't comment on that, but looking at this particular case only, it really isn't the Seller's problem if the buyer decide to change your mind a little too late? If the seller was kind enough to understand buyer's situation and allow for the refund, then maybe the buyer should be kind enough to be patient.

I agree we should have a reserve pot just in case a customer needs a refund imediatley but we are too small to even put enough away for ourselves. Other then that I thank G37 sam not for defending me, but for understanding the situation. I really appreciate that and wish more people woudl look at both sides of the table instead of one side and make their judgement there and then.

Thanks!

That’s fine with me I'll be sure to let the site owners know since that is against the rules of the forums and then can have you removed for harassing a vendor. Its clearly out there our past and the way we have had things going so far and all they will say is pming individual customers is not necessary.

i am allowed to pm whoever i want hence private. but you are a poor sponcer on this site. and the more you talk the more you dig yourself a hole. So send your concerns to the admin it is your right to do so just as it is my right to PM people to warn them of potential problems with vendors that may have a spotty track record here and on other sites.

Like I said try it but when you sign on to these forums and read the terms of use you basically give up your privacy of speech because moderators can read and even go as far as delete PMs and posts if they feel its harmful to the site. As a paying vendor I have a right to fair chance and if I was in breach of those rights they would remove me and warn people them selves. If the owners see things are going well and you are warning customers out of clear spite then you don’t need me to tell you what can happen.

All I have to do is deliver our products and make them good and that’s more then enough to win this childish game you wish to play. I’m done in this thread. If you had the ability to look at both sides of the argument you would see that I am not at fault in this particular case.

So to sum up what you said. I pay money on here so I can do what I want and continue to not deliver products to paying customers and then have super bad customer support and because i pay my money I will get away with it.

like I said you keep digging the hole you makeyourself sound more and more like a shister and less like a reputable business with every post.

You guys have so little startup capital that you can't refund a single purchase? That worries me... maybe the business plan needs to be revisited. If there is one.

Material cost for making a CF part isn't much. Lets use a front lip for example. Maybe 30 bucks material cost, possibly less, depending on how much or how little you use.
