^I believe that AutoKits is using 2x2 weave (the standard weave to use). There should be no difference.
LE's mirror cover is 2x2 weave, whereas the IMPUL mirror cover is 1x1 weave. 1x1 weave tends to look two-toned from the weave pattern (checkered pattern).
I believe LE can also provide the 1x1 weave though.

Thanks for all the interest! The fins would likely be an option in the future when it is time to revisit mirror covers since most of the R&D are going to another project right now.
However, I know some of you really want to this to happen. So if we can get 4-5 people interested enough to do a group-by, I can have this started immediately. It'd be priced at around $140 for a set. If we have more than 4-5, each person's cost would go down. Vice versa.

Yes sir. 2x2, same as the mirror covers. 1x1 is available too but 2x2 has a more 3D look, gives it a little more depth, especially when it's under a layer of resin+clear.
As soon as we can get 4-5 and the funds, I will make the call and start with the prototype within 24 hrs. Or, if the committed members on the list are willing to take on a higher cost, that's fine too.
