I think they should leave it that size. It looks good like that. That piece that needs to be trimmed maybe can be extended to go under the lower mesh? Full carbon would look bad azz

I have Blue slate and I also have the diffuser and grill from AUTOKITS-X in Carbon. I think if you don't have a real aggressive drop it should hit the ground. If you have a drop like SOLISIMO then you might have a problem. Hey SAM you will be bagging your car?
