Lighting problems
Im having a bit of a dilemma with my led lights. I bought these from ijdmtoys, one pair in each color, and i LOVE the color they output. I installed them in the license plate lights and the step/courtesy lights
iJDMTOY JDM Xenon White/Ultra Blue High Power T10 LED bulbs for parking city lights, side door lights, license plate lights, etc
Only problem is 3 of the four leds stopped working after a few hours of installing them and I dont think its because they went bad. It seems like theyre not getting a very good connection with the prongs inside the housing. I tried another set of leds that I've had from superbrightleds that I've been using for a long time and they fit nice and snug and work perfectly.
My question is how can I get the ijdmtoys ones to fit better in the housing??? Is there anything I can do to get them more snug or have a better connection?? I really like the color they produce a lot better than the superbrightled ones.
Thanks!

Im still waiting to hear back from them. Which ones did you get? it just seems like theyre not making very good contact with the metal prongs. When I move them around, or push them in harder, they work better.
I bought the kit and it was this kind:
iJDMTOY JDM Xenon White/Ultra Blue/Brilliant Red T10 Wedge Light LED bulbs for Map, Dome, Parking City Lights, Sidemarkers or side door courtesy lights

I had the same problem with an LED in the amber in the headlight. There was no indent in the LED base to all the socket to hold it very good. Took a dremel and made a small indent and it worked perfected. Posted some pistcures somewhere on the forum, but can't recall where.

The problem doesnt seem to be that its not "holding" it in place...even when its pushed all the way in, it doesnt look like its making good contact. It seems like theres not a lot of contact on the sides...if that makes any sense.
I guess I basically want to find a way to "beef up" the metal connectors so that they go in the socket snug at the points where they make contact.

Ahhhh. That is a different problem. Mine were all fine in that area.

Thanks for the help guys. It appears that 3 out of the 4 leds were bad. The one that survived has been working without any issues so far. I tried to make the connections better on the other 3 to no avail...they just dont work.
IJDMtoys is replacing them for me with different leds. I'll keep everyone posted when I get them.

3 out of 4! That's enough evidence to show you that's crap!
IMHO and many others... Been there did that! V-LEDS are the best Led bulbs you can buy and they last long. You can see it in the quality of design, weight etc.
