Hello everybody, I have done a ton of searches, but I couldn't really find anything to help me out. I had a couple questions but wanted to preface it with the fact that I live in PA where tint less then 70% is illegal. I have black on black and my car just gets way too hot though and I love the look of tint. My questions are:

Did anybody have the small tint strip installed on the top of the windshield? Does it still look classy or does is look out of place on a G sedan?

I was thinking about doing 48% on the sides and 40% on the back? Or should I try 48% on just the front windows and then 40 on the back sides and rear window? Do you think the fade tinet is more of a tip off to cops?

I've run 20% - no complaints - cops will question it occasionally but I've never been cited for it - seems to me that in PA as long as they can see you through the windows they don't really care - unless they are being a$$holes that day

 

Um, last week I was pulled over by cops in Ardmore, PA b/c I had set off the burglar alarm at the Infiniti dealership (it was Sunday and closed).

The cop mentioned my tint was illegal, so I asked him what was the limit - he said 30%... like his cop car. I told him mine was 35% b/c I used to live in VA, but he said he couldn't see through them... Turns out sbebs you're right, it's 70%.

But you could get 35% like me and never get pulled over (unless you set off the burglar alarm at your local Infiniti dealership).
