sup people!

Im looking to get some tints this weekend and wanted to know(suggestions on) what shade would be best for Platinum Graphite w/Black interior. I dont really want it to be too dark, just enuff to have a shadow during the day. I know it wont take much to darken up since the interior is black.

Also whats some good shop in or around Valley Stream NY. I used to go to Speedworld out in Bldwin before i moved, havent been there in years so im not sure whos doing what in there these days.

^^i have black on black with 20% and i think its perfect. i wouldnt go any darker than that though. if thats too dark i would go 30-35%. anything lighter than that is pointless and you might as well not tint at all. As for a shop around valley stream im not sure cuz i had the dealer tint mine.

 

Out here the Dealer was asking for $275. Last time i got tints I paid $120. but that was a while ago, i know things changed but did they change that much? lol. Whats a reasonable price for good quality tints?

 

either one: 20% all around or 35% all around.

20% might be too dark when it's cloudy or rainy and at night.

The price depends on what kinda film and the place where you live,,,too.
I think I would say the price is not bad below $200.

 

I paid 110 for mine, 15%.

 

Yeah that was the dealer in allentown PA.I guess I just check some spots in the morning ro see what's what. Might go with the 30 percen. Thanx for the info fellas

 

Lorenzo's in NY... He is expensive but is the best in the business.. Did all funk flex's cars...

$275 (Takes off your interior plastics to to the windows so you dont get that UGLY line where the tint stops, puts fabric inside etc to avoid scratches when you open and close the window)

i love my 15% .... can't really see in, but can see out clearly

 

I have Slate Blue and went 35% on sides and 20% in the back and am very happy with it, remember to ask for non metallic so there is no interference with Nav

Couldnt get it in this weekend so ill do it next time im down. Speedworlds askin 145 so ill most likely get it dont there.

35% would that be the shade on the sunroof? Thats probly what ill choose or slightly darker..........

^^ Yea i think the sunroof is 35%. The back of most SUV's from the factory are about 20%. My lexus is and i matched the 2 front perfect. I say go 20%. I think darker tints look good on light color exteriors but thats just my opinion.

 

i got 5's in the back and 15 percent in the front windows looks clean never see the back and at night cant see the front windows ethier hard to see with windows up at night sometimes u get used to it thou

 

A friend of mine had some really dark tint all around. When you would look out the windows everything was red.
