Use something like a hair dryer or you can try "goo gone"

also use fishing string to go behind the letters then after you remove the letters use a hairdryer or car safe googone to get rid of the letters then do some detailing to try to get rid of the ghosting or a clay bar

I've always used dental floss or the "SEARCH" feature to find out answers to my questions.

Just used some thin fishing line or dental floss would work. Takes a little bit of work to get all the glue off. Goo Gone does help.

Just remove mine the other day using hair dryer to heat the emblem and then WD40 and dental floss, the Mt fugi was the toughest, the lettering comes off real easy. One you get the emblem off use googone and the hair dryer on the glue, it makes it tacky and easy to roll into little ***** with your finger to remove in chunks.

Not really hidding anything, it just creates a different look. Also a pretty clear statement this car is moddified since I doubt you'll see a debaged car as the only modification. One small step away from Stock, one giant leap to being my car! It also forces the question.."What is it?", now who doesn't want to be mysterious. Lastly it's easier to clean. I did mine in prep of putting a black chrome fugi back on, not sure though now if I'll put G37S back on.. I'm 50/70 on that decision now with keeping it off. Stock the rear is way to busy.

I laugh when I see nice cars with dealer emblems on and bumper stickers... you poor billboard abused vehicle, there should be a law to protect the car. I yawn and sigh when I see a stock G37, oh what a waste of artist clay.

I used to be on your same boat but its starting to grow in me, not trying to hide anything on the contrary, trunk would look 10x cleaner especially if you're going for an anti-chrome look (like myself).. It's a matter of personal preference I suppose
