when you unscrew your license plate bracket, the screws pull the surrounding bumper slightly outwards, do the bumper plugs cover this up?
I have bumper plugs. The little swirls of the bumper that stick out, can be cut off, if I understand you correctly. If you have the front plate from the dealer, make sure you widen the holes. The bumper plugs are too big for the holes. I bent one of mine a little by trying to jam it in. Make sure to widen them out first and they will fit just fine. Also, the color match is pretty good on these.
I installed bumperplugs with 2 quick tricks, first I drilled the holes to the specified size, with the sharpest new drill bit you have, then I took a step drill bit and Gently hit the plastic that was sticking out, finally very gently cleaned it up with an xacto knife to make to perfectly drilled / flush holes, the bumper plugs fit nice and tight and super flush. And for some unknown reason If I had to pull them out there are perfect holes there. Still pissed the dealer drilled friggin holes to mount a plate. Especailly when I did a final inspection of the car before signing the paper work, come out to see a front plate now on. thought nothing of it, get home go to pull the plate off and what do I find, sheet rock screws in my bumper.
