Seibon=problems

Long story short I bought a seibon hood about 2 months ago..The TS one and in started to warp, and now bubbles are pertruding out all over the hood. The car is garaged so I know its not weather related. I called seibon 5 times over the week and emailed them as well. I was told by the rep theres nothing i could do, he said "drive to california". I flipped and now since they wont honor the warranty I will be filing a claim against the company with the better business bureau in california. I know sometimes carbon fiber is a little messed up but this is ridiculous. anybody else have problems with this company?

BBB has no power to make them do anything. You are wasting your time with that. You can't file a claim with BBB, all you can do is lodge a complaint against them which they keep in a file. That's it. And that is only if they are a member of BBB, they may not be.

Best of luck with getting help with your issue. Have you tried getting assistance form the retailer who sold you the hood?

The retailer is Rayco in Long Island New York and he is tryin to deal with this for me. He took pics sent em in like Seibon said to do and they keep givin us the run around. When you take pics of carbon fiber its so hard to see any shape issues unless ur in front of the car at eye level, The bumps that keep forming from the inside out are visible via picture but they said its normal... BS .(thats why they say send photographs so they can deny every single claim) Any ideas about how to get them besides the BBB.

Its just BS they shouldnt be able to get away with this. They are supposed to be the best carbon company to my knowledge but that is way off the truth.

Thanks for sharing your issue, hope you get things straightened out.

I am now moving the Seibon TS CF hood to the bottom of my wish list.

They screwed me over on my G35. Bought a TS cf hood. 2 months after having it, it started to crack around every corner of the vents. Andy at showstoppers sent in pics for me, Seibon said I must have dropped something on my hood and cracked it around every single corner on all 6 vents. Refused to do anything. It fit like SHlT to begin with as well.
FVCK SEIBON!!!!
