Being BO, I left it as is. And no problem getting it to stay on with a little extra work. Take a look here: Notes on Install of Stillen Splitter

I had mine professionally painted at a body shop. And instead of the screws that came with it, I added another 12 screws. That sucker isn't going anywhere!!

In the 3rd pic of your install it looks like the splitter curves inward towards the bumber. Do you see what I mean and is it really noticeable? Thanks.

I saw that when I first looked at the picture on the computer and even went back out to look at it. No not a problem and it just looks funny in the picture due to the angle and zoom. The splitter has a curve to it to follow the curve of the bumper. This post has better pics: https://www.myg37.com/forums/2473131-post14.html.

I just had my stillen splitter painted and installed. I had the splitter on the car for about a week and the first time I took my car up to high speeds on the interstate (100+) it FLEW right off! I did not put the knuckles on either as I thougth they were pretty ugly. The body shop that put it on didn't offer to replace the splitter and I was thinking about getting another. Have you had any problems with your splitter?? Doesn't it have double sided tape to tape the splitter to the bottom of the front bumper? Would you simply suggest adding quite a few more screws?? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
