Getting rid of the amber in the headlights has been on the top of my list from day one. I have found out that importing those headlights are near impossible and way costly. So I've been thinking about having the amber pieces remolded in a clear plastic. I'm now leaning towards a smoked or tinted plastic to go along with black chrome housings. I just need a spare headlight set to start the project.

Hell yeah it's a lot of work, but you got to do what you got to do right. That amber reflector is about as out of place as a chrome push button in the middle of a red taillight.

For the job your asking, it's fairly simple, he will take care of you, just be patient, he comes on a lot.

If you have plenty of time on your hands, money is no object, and you want a great job, there's always clearcorners.com. They will do whatever you like and the results will be fantastic. However, they WILL be the most expensive option, and it will take a long time.

would it possible to open up the headlights and apply temporary vinyl tint on the amber strip so in case i get pulled over and require a vehicle inspect i can rebake the headlights and remove the amber overlay??

If not I'll just go with bluebat overlays...but i really just want to get rid of the amber.. temporarily

Is your amber painted BO? If not, then what color? Looks good.

So you want it to look like this? This was my first choice, but agree not economically viable.
