ive got about 4k on my 6 month old G37 and havent had an issue yet, i dont carry a wallet in my back pocket though. The seats are definetely soft and it takes a couple minutes after i get out for them to go back to their original shape.

Hmm, not sure what the point is to this thread but I'll play....8000miles after 1 year, no seat issues

 

10.5K miles and 11 mos. old.
No seat/leather issues, *knocks on wood.
I apply Meguiars' leather conditioner once a month.
I try to remove my wallet and cellphone when I get in the car. It was a PITA at first but it's become a habit now.

 

Been very fortunate...nothing after 9.2k miles and 8 months. I rarely leave my wallet in my back pocket. I just cleaned/conditioned my seats for the first time this week.
