Teaser: Black interior trim.

We went and picked these up yesterday. She is very happy with how they look. I am very happy with the quality of the paint job. I'm not going to be posting much (right now) because I have a lot of installing to do. White gloves are on.

How they all started:

How they look now:

There is no wax on them yet and they may be a little fingered up. There are no blemishes in the paint (yet)...

These should look nice. Much better than the overlay which makes everything look cheap and sunken in.

They are as gloss black as it is going to get. Realize I have a lot of light and a flash on them in the picture. In the car they are dark dark black.

You can't rush perfection. Well, maybe a girl can but I can't. She wants to drive Her car tomorrow to a lunch meeting but I don't think I'll have the other mod done by then. I need to install a couple switches before it all goes back together. Procrastinating on the internet doesn't help.

That's the positive attitude we all like to hear.

I got this all put back together and it is in now.

Damn that is going to look really clean.....okay except all of the smudges that you are easily going to be able to see.

Is it just me or can you see the washi "brushed" metal through the black paint.

I like it so far. Just make sure that if there are any scatches in the future, that they are "Her" scratches not yours.

No, you can't see the brushed metal. They were etched and primered before paint and they are slick as snot. I really should have waxed them before I started installing everything.
