OEM Turn Signal vs. Silver Stealth Titanium Chrome Vision

I think there are a few on the forum running these bulbs from what I have read. They are from here: http://autolumination.com/7443_7440.htm. Some are running the Chrome-Dome (same link) which is a little brighter. Both blink amber, so you are still legal.

I have seen some ask about these, but I have not seen anyone post any comparison pics so here you go. Hope it helps the undecided. I am sure you can figure out which is which.

Good post! I wonder which one is safer to nearby traffic. I only bring this point up b/c the amber's contrast may give better notice to traffic that you'll be making a turn...just a thought...

Still pretty bright turn signal when on. You can notice that the one I used is not as bright as the OEM during the day, but once it is dark there seems to be little difference. Since they are "cheap", I was going to order the Chrome Dome next.....but after seeing this one working I decided it was bright enough.

And for me it makes little differnece as I seldom use the turn signals.

Actually, I wish our G had a feature that is on my GTI. You tap the turn signal stalk when changing lanes and it blinks 3 times and then turns off automatically.

haha...so I see you're one of "those" ppl that never use their turn signal ; ) I love that they're a cheap mod to get. If I get it, I'd def get the chrome dome since it's 40% brighter. I wish there was a video of these babies in action, even though it's a cheap enough mod to try out. That's a cool feature on the GTI...maybe the 2010 G37?...hmm...but yeah, you got me thinking maybe I'll buy a couple chrome domes and try these puppies out

Single. Ours are 7440. But I ordered "amber" since I wanted it to be seen when and if I used my turn signals. I just did not think the Super White would be as obvious and I also did not want any trouble getting through the annual vehicle inspection.

Right on...thx! I've youtubed to see if there's any videos and I'm surprised nothing's online as far as videos. But it's cheap enough where you can't go wrong. I'm gonna get the amber ones as well to play it safe with traffic

That is strange and I never noticed it.....

But I have ordered from that site as well as autolumination at this web-site. http://autolumination.com/7443_7440.htm. Have no idea if they are related or not but they sure look the same. And on teh superlumination site, the flashing demo says "auto lumination".

I think the Chrome Dome will have a little bit of Amber reflection and it is 40% brighter than full Chrome. But if you went with Super White, it might reflect a little blue. Post a pic with done.

Maybe, but should be less than OEM. If you get it, please post a pic for all to see.

Yeah, cause that's what I was wondering as well. I'm gonna be getting my housing painted black, so which one should I buy?
