5'8 is pretty short. I thought you would be trying to raise the seat

6'3 here with a sedan and sunroof. No problems. But I'm tilted back a bit. Not "driving from the back seat" tilted, but just a bit!

I'm 6' and my hair touches the headliner. I hate how the sport seats are so high. I had a Journey loaner and the seats could be adjusted almost a good 2" lower!!! I do not like to recline in my seat while a drive--that is not proper driving position and it feels like I'm at home in my lazyboy recliner!

Another reason being short is awesome.

No offense, but that hair in a G would definitely incite the stereotypical "douchebag" look around here. Not calling you one or hating; just sharing some details.

Does anyone know if this seat-height adjustment still applies to 2010 G37 Sport seat?

i'm 5'8" too and there's plenty of room above my head.. and I am pretty sure my seat isn't at the lowest either. Maybe something is messed up with your car?

Too-tall Mike

This is the most significant complaint I have regarding the 2010 G37 Sport Coupe. Everything else is pure nirvana. I love the car enough that I have been in denial about the fact that I don't fit well into it.

I am about 6'2". In my most athletic vintage I couldn't even dunk. Yet my head definitely hits the ceiling in my desired driving position, and I abandoned my afro back in the 70's.

I have to alter the driver position to a more laid-back angle to avoid hitting my head on the roof.

The sun roof is a mixed blessing. I think it lowers the ceiling slightly, but it provides a bit of raised area where the glass is (even when closed) that allows my overly developed cranium about a 1/2" more room.

If there were a way to lower the seat a bit, that would be wonderful.

When I first sat in the car i was shocked as to how high the seat was. Set it to the lowest setting and my head would hit the liner every now and then. Lean the backrest a little to have a less upright position and it'll take care of it. And I'm 5'10 by the way. Least headroom out of any car I've driven including golf, civic, smart fortwo, cadillacs, bmws and benz...

the thread discusses adjusting a bolt under the seat to allow for more seat movement downward.

Different seats in a 2011 G37S? Looked, but could not find any exposed "gears".

6'5, I don't think it's so much that the seats are too high (my hair barely rubs), but I do think the wheel is too low, I sometimes find my knees getting in my way

This issue annoys the hell outta me as well. There is nothing obstructing the seat and it looks like it is down as far as it will go. I'm 5'9" and I hit the headliner as well unless I tilt the seat back. I've just gotten used to driving with a mild Gangster Lean.
