Question Installing Washi aluminum trim door pulls

I just got the 2009 style Washi aluminum door grip pulls, which I want to install on my 2008 G37 (to replace the cheap plastic ones that got all scratched up in about 3 days).

Before I attack it with a screwdriver and potentially mess it up, has anyone installed these yet? Are there any "tricks" to getting the old ones off? The new ones have plastic grip fittings that look they just snap into place, but I don't want to dig up the underlying door handle to get the old ones off.

Thanks!

Should pop right off and snap back on and who cares if you scratch your scratched door handles.

My stealership put mine on "as a favor they threw it in".

from what i've heard, they "just pop off", but i've not tried it. i need to buy these as well, so if you are brave, please take some pics of the process.

Wrap a flathead screwdriver head with like a cloth or electrical tape before trying to pry it off, and it'll reduce chances for scratching. To put the new ones on, it should just pop right in, no tools necessary. post pics of the process!

I bought mine from Sewell Infiniti in Dallas for $40 a piece..... got them last Thursday and installed them last night. It was a breeze. There is a small opening at the bottom-right side of the trim. Just use a screwdriver to gently losen the trim. You will hear it "pop"..... then use your fingers and just pull and it will come off.

Now for some reason the Washi was a *itch to pop on.... I was careful because I didn't want to break anything.... but with a little more effort they just popped on..... it looks great.... I am going to post pics tomorrow or later today... If you have any questions just PM me...

I know it's in another thread somewhere, but could someone post the part #'s? I think I'm going to try Riverside S they gave me a good price on some parts before. What's the name of the parts guy there who used to be around the forum? I forgot.
