Hey, is it possible to change the lights that light up the start button? I was thinking of making it red.. Thanks!

That would be pretty trick. Anything can be done but I'm not sure how easy it would be. I know I've seen the pushbuttons on sale somewhere before. It might be worth looking into getting a spare one (if it's cheap enough) and experimenting on that.

Might require getting in there and cutting out and soldering in an led.

Send Kevin from KP Technologies a PM. When I was over at his house, he had a few spare push-buttons laying around because he was working on a new mod. He might know how to take it off, but I'm not sure. For that matter, he might even know if changing the bulb is possible or not.

I wonder if I can use the one from the GTR.. I just like the way it looks in the GTR its like a painted red.. so I figured it would be cool to have one that glows red.. I just got the g37c though and i am scared to start picking things apart.. if someone has a spare one please tell us whats inside for a light!

i'm not sure about the g37 one's..but for the s2k, it's just a regular halogen bulb with a colored condom on it...you can change it to an led, but it won't be as bright since the bulb goes in from the side....i dunno, maybe the g37 is different...as for the gtr one, i'm pretty confident it'll fit....

nissan wouldn't redesign a working product just to make it "unique"....i'm sure it's just a different cover on it to make it red, but internals and wiring will be the same...but good luck getting that start button, u can't buy anything for the gtr unless you own a gtr (provide vin upon purchase)

That would be 4 LEDs total.

actually, looking at the pics on other sites..i don't think it'll fit....the gtr one is not flat but rather sits at an angle because of the curvature of the center piece....so if u buy the gtr one and put it in the G, i think the top part might stick out a little bit...
