Repainting the G37, Dealership?

Hey all. Recently I've been getting a little bored with the Ivory Pearl and thinking I want to maybe get the car repainted Obsidian Black or that nice Blue (sorry Max ). Will the dealership repaint the car for me and what kind of price would it be? The reason I ask is because I don't have the tools or knowledge to do it myself and most of the body shops around here really can't be trusted (take the car for a headlight install and the windows don't roll down when you get it back...for example). Just wanted to see if you guys/gals had any input or experience with trying to repaint your G's. Thanks!

A body shop will. A good paint job is gonna cost upwards of 5 - 8k and will never be as good as a factory paint job.

Anything will be better than OEM paint on a G. OEM Paint is like watercolor. Im going on that route also but custom color. Rock chips are unbeatable on this car. I need a clear bra all around.

People here half *** everything, I really don't trust someone putting their hands all over my car, I don't trust who or what they're going to put inside her or do to her.

The same fears I have for my girlfriend are the same fears I have for my car. Understandably.

don't repaint for another OEM color... get a custom one if you're repainting...

if your going for another oem color youd likely be better off selling your car and buying another one. (lose less than it would cost for a new paint job of equal or greater quality)

I say you beat the crap out of your car, and then apply for overhaulin. If nothing else your guarenteed some nice wheels and a sound system. win win

^^I love that chop. Looks sick.

I agree that if you are going to repaint to a stock color, just trade in and have factory paint job. If I was going to repaint I would do something different than factory colors.
