Replica G37s spoiler pre-installation, looking for inputs.

the brake light cut out is a bit off look at both ends, wing is about 47 or 48 inches from tip to tip

edit: fitted the brake light up, fits perfectly, had to shave the camera hole a bit because one end was a straight cut and one end had a non straight cut, like it was not fully cut down.

Test fitted it today, It looked very accurate, Paint looks very good also, Hoping to install this week. Here some pics, Mind the fact that its sticking up at both ends. The chrome spoiler is still on but fits perfectly over it, should i still remove it?

Wash the trunk with palmolive, and then rub it with some rubbing alchohal before you use the 3M tape.

Also don't do it today in the snow, it could mess up the tape.

That rear view camera hole looks pretty rough. Also, is it just the photograph or is the paint finish really that bad? It looks like it has tons of orange peel and not much glossiness to the clear coat in the last photo. And ditto what TomG37 said about cleaning and prepping the surface very well with alcohol before putting the tape on in a warm area.

Installed it, It was kinda easy, Sad to put holes into the trunk and all, It looks good, But one defect..Check the last picture, I think this give's me a reason to get the OEM one now.. F^%#@

I removed the chrome piece, but come to find out theres nothing to mout the camera on with the Replica spoiler, So i just put that back together hoping that everything would show normally but im left with 1/2 reverse screen. I think im going to be on the hunt for a OEM one, But thing is i need to know where on the OEM is the screws placed, Far ends? Middle of the spoiler?
