I have a simple question for Ig0r, or anyone else with the Ironman mod. With the addition of the projector shroud LEDs, is the side-marker bulb still functional? It seems like everyone who gets the Ironman done has the amber removed, and I prefer that look during the day, but I still want an amber side-marker at night. After having the Ironman mod done and the amber removed, could I pop an amber LED bulb in for the side-marker, or is that socket useless afterwards?

Except for legal reasons in states where it's not uncommon for police to tack additional violations on if you get pulled over for something else. And some of the tiny towns and rich-b1tch suburbs here in Ohio have cops who will definitely pull you over for that stuff, just to stop you and check if you're sober or try to find revenue for their tiny town. I seriously doubt I'd get pulled over for it, but I'm not willing to gamble on the violation if I get pulled over at night.

Man, I would love to get this iron man mod, but I can't just take out my headlights and ship to New York considering I won't have a car to drive in the meantime. I wouldn't chance it with the popo around. Damn, I wish Igor could set aside a weekend and come up to Toronto to do some work! It'd be well worth his time and he'd make decent coin.

simple. i picked up piaa's 7440 mirror chrome bulb. igor cleared out my amber reflector and i dont want a big orange bulb showing so i got this bulb which will still light up orange without sticking out.



you can always pick up an extra set of headlights to use while igor works on yours. then just sell the extra set to someone else. i know chad (kidcane) did that and his extra set will be for sale shortly.

 

So the side-marker socket is still functional then?

And on another note, how well does the color of the Piaa (how the hell do you pronounce Piaa?) Xtreme White city bulb match the Ironman LEDs?
