8k would be what you are looking for. 10k would prob be too blue for what you want. 12k is purple.

dont waste your time with 8k, its not worth the loss of light output. 6k are the best compromise between looks and performance. my ultinons had a slight blue tint when compared with other hids. from pics, i think the hpa's are just a tad bit bluer. and like i said, for half the price you cant really go wrong. i plan on trying them out and if im not happy, i can always get ultinons later.

It's not too bad. Easiest way is to take off wheel and remove plastic fender liking. Then you have perfect access to the back of the headlight.

Copied this post for more info.............

Id say the 8k will be a good amount of purple... BlackJack and I tested our HIDs this weekend...

Max--- HPAutoworks 6k HIDS (90 bucks w/ 5yr warranty ) = slight blue up close but super white far away...

BlackJacks--- EliteEV 6k HIDS (58 shipped w/ 6month warranty) = a very slight purple I mean very slight and lights up very white )

Overall we decided that Elite EVs were closer to the 4300k OEM bulb than the HP autowork hids... and had the ever so slight purple hue... it was kinda weird...and hard to describe...

Here is some pics:

Max= Left/Blue ---- BlackJack--Right/Black

BLACKJACKS ELITVEV -- can see a lil purpler here...

MaxToTheG37s HP Autowork -- can see the slight blue super white

This one shows it well.....

Hope this helps.... I recommend HP Autoworks Capsules for the warranty alone...

I think this pics shows it well...

Far left = OEM 4300k
Middle = EliteEV 6000k
Far Right = HPA 6000k

If you like blue, go with HPA. EliteEV is more white as you can tell.

Get what you like... Each offers something different.

Get the 8k hid bulbs on ebay. $26 shipped for the pair, I have them on my car. I got the 6k and the 8k cause its so darn cheap. I suggest 8k cause most of you guys change them out in the first place cause the stock 4300k looks ugly. why change to 6k for a slight blue tint? Get the Blue blue hid and be happy with it. I originally got the 6k bulbs and realized, wow my g37 looks like its the same color as the TLs now. fawk it and ordered the 8k. lol
