Has anyone painted the lower grille?

I'm going to paint my grille, the lower grille mesh insert, and also the 2 panels that are where the "fake brake ducts" are. Has anyone painted them before? Going to go with BO to completely black out the front except for the projector shrouds and the center Infiniti emblem (leaving it chrome).

Has anyone else done these and do you have pics? Not the grille, I've seen that already - the lower inserts.

It will be glossy and not flat and I think that might make a big difference in the look.

Will you doing a DIY painting or having it professionally done?

Perfect! Thank you, I'd just found most of Stoof's photos but didn't know you'd had it done too. Done by a pro or did you guys do it yourself? How's it holding up?

I'm going the DIY route and if I butcher it too badly just take it to a body shop to have them redo it. I might even try out some black screen behind the center one to make it more opaque.

I've got a couple of small knicks in the plastic on the front of the grille that are too deep to sand out. What type of body filler should I use on plastic? They are very small, about 1/8" or 1/4".

Bondo?

The lower grills painted BO look wet, would like to see it in daylight.
