I like that idea. It is still a little too silver for me around the turn signal. Also, did you paint or tint the amber?

They aren't the best photos, but you can get an idea of what they look like on the car.

Bruin, I painted the grille myself in the garage using regular spray cans. DupliColor primer, universal balck (it said it matched KH3 and it does), and clear coat. I think maybe on the next set I'll get Igor to paint the front part of the housing around the turn signal but not all of it; maybe a strip about 1"-1.5" back from the leading edge.

Front part of the housing around the turn signal but not all of it? Hmmm, having trouble visualizing.

That's what happens when you do all you can to avoid a drunken idiot and have to hit the curb to avoid serious damage to your car. Kind of a sore subject.

It is painted BO like the rest of the inside of the headlight housing.

There's a clear plastic piece that's inside the part of the housing where the turn signal is. It is about an inch or so deep and has a bar that runs from top to bottom inside the housing. Black along the bottom edge of that piece and up the sides. Also the small triangular part at the uppermost point of the headlight just above the turn signal bulb.

Be sure to post pics of that when you get it done. BTW, your large format pics looked great on my 30" monitor.

I'll try to get one later today if possible, after I get my grille put back together. X-vert is your man - he does excellent work; and I'm very picky. He should become a vendor here, then maybe he'd answer his PM's quicker.

You can easily see the clear bra on the entire front end. Clear bra gets rock chips too as you can see. A hazard of actually driving your car a lot instead of having a garage queen. 35K in the first year will give you lots of opportunities to get rock chips. I got one on my newly painted grille today and it's only been on for 2 days!
