Hi!

Was wondering what yall opinions are for best tint % for a black on black G. I live in California so the theoretical max is 30% front unlimited rear, but I think maybe up to 20% would fly by unnoticed?

I'm one shade under Limo and I think it looks perfect IMO... Haven't gotten crap from cops either...

 

good luck in cali. i would be cautious. i prefer anything under 15% though.

 

i live in cali same color and i have 15% on the front and limo in the back..i do get stuff from cops sometimes...but i just drive with the windows down most of the time..but i think limo all around looks the best i might re-do mine =]

 

5%. Once you go black, you can't go back.

 

dark tint always go good with a black car. 15-20 should be good

 

Is there anything lower than 5%? I think I remember seeing like 2.5% at a tint supply shop..

 

5% rear, 20% front. Perfect look, and perfectly dark with NO problems from the po po's

haven't been pulled over yet.

When I had the Corrado with Limo in the back and 15% on the sides.. I got pulled over about 5 times. That was WAY to dark; especially at dusk/night.

 

You are unfortunately wrong. CA you can't have any tint, (besides UV cutting film, which has no darkening quality) on the front windows.

However, we all have tint, I have the shade up from limo on my driver and passenger windows, and limo on the back windows. I've always tinted my vehicles rather dark.

 

15% and never had a problem and have been pulled over with it for other reasons
