ok so I have a '08 G37S in BS with 20% tints and smoked tailights and I wanna do Ironman headlights but I NEED some ideas as to the paint color of the housing/color of the bulbs....I'll prolly do white bulbs bc I don't want the car to look ricey but I need ideas on the housing paint color....anyone?

 

do like everyone else. matte black or go with OB too

I got Blue Slate too, I'm gunna go ahead and paint the housing to match the BS. Someone that has Athens Blue did that with iron man and it looked pretty sweet.

I would color match the housing with the BS and leave the projectors chrome.

 

I don't think that looks ricey at all; if anything black housings on a blue car looks more ricey than blue on blue. And it's definitely no more ricey looking than smoked taillights. Personally I don't find any of that as ricey, but blue on blue would be the furthest from it.

 

Color matched would not look ricey at all IMO. After all ferrari's and vettes have color matches housings.

 

I also have BS and I'm debating how to do my Ironman!! I'm definitely going with white lights, and hopefully I'll be able to get city lights to match. Someone mentioned in a previous post a few weeks ago about a "black chrome" color? If such a color exists, I would love to see pictures of it. Otherwise, I'm going to leave the housing untouched and just remove the amber.

color match it, chrome projectors with white leds. very classy look. its the colors and multi color leds that make it look more wild or i guess "ricey" in your words. your gonna get lots of different opinions tho. do what you think looks best or search around for others that have had the mod done. good luck with your decision and happy modding

I haven't seen any pictures of BS with Ironman (and I have been looking for weeks). I know there are a few guys out there who did it, but I haven't seen any pictures of them yet.

As far as BS housing... I definitely haven't seen it in any pictures. You should PM X-Vert and ask if he's done any, and if he has any pictures. And when you hear back from him, let me know!!
