sounds interesting. but whats the point of doing something if you're not going to explain it or post updates here? i understand the criticism about copying something but this is a forum and there will always be narrow minded people.

 

He actually had it all explained thoroughly in his new post (the one he had the link to) but it got deleted by the mods... Don't understand why it was though...

I'm sure if you email him he'd be able to answer any questions regarding the Arc Reactor...

 

It was deleted because my post was soliciting members and being unfair to vendors, basically violating my member status. I thought I was walking on the edge but I guess I was wrong.

I'm thankful that it was deleted though, otherwise it wouldn't be what it is today.

sorry i come on here to read about stuff for the car, not elsewhere. if you write it up simply as a mod you are performing on your car with pics and details, there wont be a problem. not that difficult...

 

No one is asking you to read about anything anywhere else. It is simply there for whoever interested to spend that extra time. If that's not you, you definitely don't need to apologize.

I've already gone down that road and I don't want to walk the ropes since what I post is already known to be controversial with my member privileges. There's a post in the mods section about this so I'll let them handle it. There's no point in creating more work for the mods and testing the waters.

But you do have a point, the problem is that if I make a write up to show off a few pics, it would obviously be implying that I am doing this as a service because of what people know already, therefore, going down that soliciting without vendor status road again.

anyways, did you seal the headlights and test them for water damage?

 

its silly if you're not allowed to post details until the finished product is available. then once it is, you would just get your vendor status. sucks i wanted to know more but just finish it, go vendor and post up your work.

Go vendor? Pay $100 a month just to post my pics? No thanks. I don't own a shop and don't do this enough to justify for that.
