Splash Guard Installation Help
Splash Guard Installation Help
Hey i just bought the splash guard for my G and i was going to install it tonight but then i read the instruction. It says you have to drill and im fine with that and all but im too lazy to do it. I was wondering if i could just buy double side 3m tape and tape them on since the JP lip is held on by nothing but tape i was wonderng if I could just tape it and it will stay on or should i just go ahead and drill it? Thanks ahead of time
which ones? front, rear or both?
I'd say the rears you'd be OK taping them, but, you can see the clip holding it in place if you're low to the ground in the back. so basically, if you just taped it, you'd see the hole where the clip is supposed to be, but no clip. idk, you have to be real low to see it.
for the fronts, you definitely want to drill the holes and mount the right way, especially after you have your drop.... i've hit those front guards a few times now and if they weren't secured in place.. i'd have lost them i'm sure.

thanks for the reply and yeah both. I might just stick the rear one on cause i mean it already has 3m tape on it from factory and i might just drill the front ones.
