Help! How to change reverse lights?

I've searched the forums and googled as well, and I can't seem to find any threads that show you have to change the reverse light bulb. I took apart the plastics and covers in the trunk area, but all i see is one set of wires with probably 4 or 5 wires feeding into one rubber stop.

When I look into the reverse light from the outside, it looks like the bulb is coming up from below, does this mean we have to remove the bumper to change the bulb?

you have to take the brake light assembly out. four or five nuts on the back filler panel.
