trust me i dont like blacked out lights on a black car... its the angle and the daylight outside that made it look like that... look at the video i posted to see for yourself...
I saw the video and yes they are easily seen. Perhaps a real test would be on a bright sunny day with the guy behind you wearing sunglasses. Could he see your brake lights without difficulty? If so, then there’s no safety problem here.

Having just replaced my rear bumper last month ($726 paid by the other's insurance company) by someone backing into me while I was backing up on a sunny day, I speak with some experience.

OP, did you do the install yourself? How hard was it on a 1-10 scale if you did? 10 being the hardest. How much experience do you have in these types of installs? I'm thinkin about installing mine myself... Don't wanna ruin them though and don't wanna pay to have them installed if I dont have to... Sorry for all the questions...

na its actually really easy ...

ok where did you order them and if you got them from lamin-x they come with like extra flap...

step 1- get a spray bottle fill it with soap and water.... clean your tail lights.... and then wet them again and wet the tint.

step 2- put it on and have a friend hold the side that is roundish while you work on the other side....

step 3- it comes with a little squigie thing so you that ... and the main source of this to come out good is to have a heat gun or a blow dryer...

step 4- blow hot air onto it while you press it down, make sure that you try to get all the water out of the tint ... wet it here and there on the outside so its easy to apply...

step 5- once you get to the roundish side stretch it out so that you can get it around the light ... some of the extra flap that you have tuck it into behind your light.. and repeat it ...

sorry its kinda wack im in a hurry lol ...

good luck

Thanks bro... Imma try it out this weekend... Fingers will be crossed... Also have the headlights too, but I would assume they'd be tougher since they're more roundeded....
