What parts are real leather?

Putting Lexol on the interior of the new G37S. I know the seating sufaces and steering wheel are genuine.

Does anyone know how far the leather wraps around the back of the seats and down to the floor? How about the shifter boot?

Salesman also said the armrests, door panels, and the center console lid are leather. They don't feel quite the same as the seating surfaces.

Thanks for the replies.

I am pretty sure all the dash pieces are leather. When I took it apart it looked real. I would say the armrests too, but i am not sure of the door panels.

I treat everything that's soft as if it's leather, seems to work fine for me.

Trying to protect the vinyl/plastic with ArmorAll and leather with Lexol.

Probably one would work for all but may not be ideal.

Eeek. I wouldn't put armor all on anything. Especially the leather.

^+1 ... ArmorAll protects nothing. Use something else (303 Aerospace Protectant is highly regarded)

I'm sure that stuff is good. Just that I've never had anything deteriorate with any noticable difference using the ArmorAll. It's inexpensive and has always prevented fading or cracking.

But I don't want to use it on the leather. Any ideas on what is actually leather on our interiors besides the seating sufaces and the steering wheel grip area?

just put lexol on anything that's soft and call it a day... it's not going to hurt it.

ArmorAll is bad for everything you can put it on. If nothing's been hurt by it, consider yourself lucky

I agree with finagle. Or just go post on the care & detailing forum for some tips.
