HPAuto's 6000k HIDs installed w/ Comparision Pics & Reviewed...MMM
Looks great!!
So I've been toying with the notion of picking up some replacement bulbs. A couple of the places I called asked what bulb size and I say, "D2S".... then I get a response of "No" they ask, "H-1, H-2, H-3, 9004, 9006 etc..."
I am assuming its H-1. Would someone mind filling me in so I don't order the wrong size. Thanks..

Guys... I would love to get another night driving before I come to my conclusion.
So far... I cant tell that anything is gone or I cant tell that any light output is decreased. I am going to drive mine tonight... then get in my aunts lexus and see the difference... I should have a pretty nailed down review by then.
I have 15% tint.

looks good... You will notice slightly less visibility especially under certain road and weather conditions with the higher Kelvin bulbs but 6000K is not too drastic relative to other bulb options.
There is somewhat of a sweet spot that looks good and gives good visibility as well. Much of it however is all personal preference.

My general experience with aftermarket HID bulbs is that you lose overall visibility. The only time I actually thought the bulbs worked better than OEM is in pitch dark conditions, but even then I'm just fooling myself. I have a set in my Accord right now and when it rains, I feel like I don't even have anything on at all.
I think I'll stick with stock. Just my 2 cents.

I know that in my personal car now as well as previous cars, I was able to gain a wider range of lighting. I am able to see the outter edges much easier than before. Generally w projector beam headlights, the light stream tends to be straight but for some reason, it helped more w/ peripheral lighting which helps me out when Im driving down roads where animals just decide to run across.
