haha no the car is not photoshop. it really is on the ice in those pictures.

im a manager at the ice rink and when i say my other car is a zamboni, it really is. thats what i drive. i took my car on to the ice for a photoshoot.

thank you guys for the opinions. im just going to forego this project i think. if i knew more about baking headlights, i would replace the orange strip with white surface mount LED strip, but i dont know **** about baking headlights, and really dont want to mess them up.

Ummm not feelin' the led lighting idea..!
But what do U charge to rent out the rink for a hour..?
I want to put my G37s on ice and see how she glides around.
Would make a great commercial too.
We might need to add padding to all the walls though.

We only get ice in our drinks out here in LA.

Just looking at that pic (Exact same car as mine) makes me wanna go for a drive.
But lets see at 5:00AM..I better find myself back in bed and start dreamin'.

(I need to invent a program-able dream device)
Any investors ?

Yeah I know-"Keep dreamin'-"

lol $375 an hour to rent the rink.

but take it from personal experience, you wont have ANY control on this ice. It was so slippery that i ended up just turning the car on in neutral and pushing it. I had NO traction whatsoever.

you have to remember, ice on the road is about 4 times as rough as the stuff that is in an ice rink. it is perfectly smooth in the rink. You wouldnt even get enough traction to get moving if you brought your car on, let alone enough to do anything fun.

Plus, because the pavement was so warm before i brought the car in, i burned down the ice in 4 spots (underneath each tire) but nothin a little slush cant fix

How did you accomplish this? What parts did you use, from where? Did you drill? Is it LED or Neon tube?? Please advise, thx.

Now that sounds like a better idea. The only thing would be all the audi kool-aid drinkers will hate on you for copying the S5. Just like bimmer owners and their hate for angel eyes on anything but bmw.

It's LED strip you cant see it well cuz of the flash but it looks really good i always get complements about them. I didn't have to drill i connected them to my parking lights. So that i can turn them on and off when i want to.

The LED thing looks good on the new Audi's, I don't think it would look good on our rides.
