Overlay Difference

I tried searching but i guess nobody asked this yet. Are the overlays on ebay the same as Bat's? I know they look the same but is it the same guy? Because they are cheaper than Bats prices but look the same.

No, they are not the same. I bought Bats and they ebay version.
Bat's overlays are better (even the color of the black) Bat's overlay has more depth

Nothing against Bat's because I have bought his products and been happy but I just went to my tint guy and he put a thicker, darker tint over the headlamps. He even made it the "GTR" style with the holes cut out for the lights. Bat's were a bit smoky so I just wanted a darker look. You can always go check with your local trusted tinting shop too.

Sorry, I don't have pictures. I had the rear lights totally tinted and it cost $130. The front lights with holes cut out cost $80. They look just like Bat's but I had them use a darker and thicker tint because I have a black car and wanted a darker look. My tint guy cut holes out to match Bat's style. I showed him Bat's website and he figured out how to do it. If you are not looking for a super dark look, I would go with Bat's.

The Ebay and Bat difference is the color. Bat has 2 types of darkness and ebay only has 1 type. ebay is slightly ligher than bat. What about the quality? Both of them are really good. Believe me because i have seen Bat and Ebay verison of overlay.

BTW lastchance tinted taillight looks really good =] i have seen that too. If you dont ask, you cant tell if its tint or overlay from distance.

I emailed him on Sunday and no reply either. I'd like to give Bat the business, but I rarely have time to do anything outside of work during normal business hours and right now I have some time. So I'll give him a couple more days but after that I'm going to the custom shop that did my windows and have them fab something for me.
