I'm in the same predicament. Pics on the web don't really help. I looked on ebay and am considering mtec. People on g35driver like em for the most part, some mixed reviews. The ultinons arent really 6000k, more like 5800k, dont know if that's good or not unless i see it in person.

Where are you all getting HID bulbs? I see new PIAA HID bulbs are like $400+ each.....that is nuts!!!

As for me, I am going with the PIAA H1 for my fogs and a set of superbright WLED-WHP for my city lights.

i'm going to use these for my fogs... http://store.candlepower.com/bgoseye55wh1.html

They'll be like the old school yellow fogs (read the link that is on that page about 'selective yellow' and you'll understand why i'm doing it)

I bought McCullough 6000K HIDs and am 100% satisfied with them. Everyone always comments about them and ask what kind of bulbs those are.

interested in the mccullough too. more info! if we just buy the bulbs, will it work with our existing ballast? or do we have to buy the whole set.

bulb size D2S, fog is H1, city light is any wedge type bulb.

Kelvin rating is a little different depending on which company makes it.

Price range is from $80-$475.

We have 6k from two different companies. Both of them are different color temp.

I got omni-x. I got the 8000k and it has a little purplish tint. I'm thinking i should have went with the 6000k, but the more and more i look at them, i like the purple. i got them for 65 bucks.

http://www.omnixautosports.com/

i did a search on ebay and omni-x has a store on there somewhere... 5 bucks cheaper than their site.

btw, i love them... and for 65 bucks its hard to beat. so far i've had them for 2 months and it has a year warranty.
