I got 30% all around (minus windshield).

no tickets, cops look and drive away.

I live in California and had 15% tint all around on my last car for about 8 years. And I got stopped twice, both times they wrote me up for the tint as well. It's no big deal. I got it taken off, paid about $15 or $20 for the ticket, got it checked off at a police station and then went back to the tint shop to get some new tint put on. it's a small hassle but I think the tint look is worth it.

 

im rockin 35% in the front and 5% in the back, but make sure u take it somwhere that does good work, i made the mistake of takin mine to a "underground guy" who does it for $60 but he had a bitch of a time because the windows are sealed amazingly well, he said it was the hardest car he had ever done...
