I did a little debadging of my own. I took of the "INFINITI" and "G37" letters.

I thought it was a little too busy back in the trunk, and upon closer inspection, I noticed that my car was badged crooked from the factory

Here's some pics of my debadged AG:

Looks so much cleaner/sleeker IMHO.

Add to poll

I suggesting adding "remove INFINITI" to the poll.

After taking a picture of the back of my coupe, I photoshoped all the possible combinations of badge removal. Removing INFINITI and leaving the emblem and model designation looked the most "normal".

I talked with a few friends and someone pointed out that most cars have an emblem and model designation on the back, and nothing else. Now that my car has the INFINITI taken off the back (with just a blow dryer and a gentle tug) it looks a lot more normal.

will all the emblems come off with a hair dryer? Also will the paint underneth be ok? I really like the idea of de-badging the car

Yes. I did mine one letter at a time. I started by warming up the letter a bit with the heat gun, then sliding a very tiny screw drive carefully under the top of the letter. Then I put heat back on the letter while pulling very gently. At a certain temperature the letter comes off instantly. I let it cool for just a moment and rubbed the glue with my finger until it just came off. I cleaned up the small amount of left over with some naptha I had in my shop.

I took the Infiniti lettering off mine, looks more normal as has been mentioned, and a lot less cluttered. I think I'm going to take th G37 off as well, just leave Mt Fuji.

Orrrr Take them off and paint them purple....Then put them randomly back on the car...Maybe Mt. Fuji on the passenger door.. Could be like a game?

I ended up debadging mine fully, and i have no regrets. It looks so much cleaner to me, it doesn't really matter that a non-car enthusiast can't identify it.
