Hey guys, I am about to take delivery of my IP and am going to have the dealer tint it. I was wondering what percent tint everyone thinks looks the best for the IP. I am thinking 20 or 25%. Let me know...

 

if its between 20-25 go 20.

 

What color is the interior?

If its dark get 20%

If the interior is light get 15%

 

I got 20% on my IP...love it.

Anyone mind posting their pics of 15, 20, or 25%. Or just direct me to some of the pics in the media forum that have these percentages.

 

I'm not really a black windows fan, for your color I'd say 35% on all windows (incl windshield) if you have light interior and 40% if dark.

Gives a nice darker look with going too far, just IMO

 

I have an IP also, I tinted my windows 20%. Love it. Not to dark and not to light. Still able to see at night.

Thanks for the advice. I think I will go with 20. I like how the 5% looks on the outside but a few friends of mine have it and I find it very difficult to see out of at night.

I don't live in Atlanta so can't answer that question, but I live in New York and they are pretty strick with the tints here, I was at the gas station one day and an officer pulled up right beside me and told me to roll down my window, so I figured he was going to say something about the tints, but he didn't, he asked me how I liked the car. And if there was a difference between the G35 and the G37, so I basically told him the differences and he said to me good luck with it. I also have stone interior so the 20% doesn't make it seem to dark. It depends on the color in your interior.
