I have whine on first and second which is pretty noisy then gets quiet after third... cant hear so much past 4th...
Anyone have this problem? I thought it was just a characteristic of manual cars..
Also does the car jerk a bit if you let go of the gas in first?

My car did the same whine noise in first and second. My transmission had to be replaced. I no longer hear it with the new transmission.

Moonroof pops loudly when going over uneven ground.
Random pops and creaks from the dash and glovebox.
Creaking noise from drivers seat on cornering.
Harmonic rattle from gearshift at 5Krpm and in 3rd and 5th gear. (6mt)
On my 4th muffler.
Never had a noisier interior.

You guys must own a spin off G37 made in China because mine is silent as a tomb inside at all speeds. Maybe you did get a lemon.
2009 Journey - all kinds of creaks and rattles, 600 miles on it!
Right ac vent area creaks over bumps
Right door rattle over bumps
Right door speaker rattles over low frequ.
Glove box rattles over bumps
Random center console rattles.

Please post issues relating to rattles, noise, vibration, squeaks, etc.

1. Muffler Rattle (Cold rattle and other) - Know problem, dealership can fix.

This is now the only issue I have however the dealership has told me that it is "normal".

Tapping sound coming from the passenger side dash. Happens when you go over bumps or when the road isn't smooth. If it sounds like plastic-to-plastic tapping, check the cover for the air filter behind the glove box. It's a white plastic piece about 3"x8" long. Make sure the thing is locked into place, it should not move at all when properly installed. In my case, I hear this tapping sound only when I use my A/C. I think when I had my 15K service, the tech didn't install the cover properly.

Oh dame man!!! I have this sound going on, and it is on the passenger side only. I thought it might have been my intake box rattling, but now that u posted this I know what it is. Sweet, thanks for the solution.

Make sure it locks into place. Push the cover to the left, the teeth should snap in, then lock the other side. It should not move when locked.
