Beware of some aftermarket Spoilers

I'm new to the forum but am not sure how many view the newbie threads. Just rec'd an aftermarket spoiler and had planned to ask for help dealing with the most obvious problem - a ****-eyed opening for the rear-view camera... BUT closer inspection showed a truly flawed piece of work, i.e. irregular shape, poor paint job. They claim in their name to be experts in another aspect of modding; if so, they should stick to their knitting. I'll be returning that piece of junk. Feel free to PM me if you need to know who to avoid...
Hope I have better luck with the FI Exhaust System I let many of you guys/gals lead me to...

Wasn't sure of protocol. The spoiler came from WoodDashExperts BUT I'm fairly certain it was manufactured by someone else and so is probably being sold through others as well. If I find out who made it, I'll post that as well...

There are a few folks here who have bought from them and have not had a problem.

You've probably received a bad spoiler that just needs to be replaced. Don't make an all-encompasing statement based on ONE unit out.

I ordered from them last week and mine should be arriving in the next few weeks. I'll post my impressions on the spolier once I receive it.

Thumbs down Can't you read

I made no all-encompassing statement. My statement dealt with the horrible piece of work I received. Also, when I spoke with a rep at the retailer, he chose to comment that "...they've had this problem before...". Trying to be helpful...you don't want a heads-up, that's fine... I was asked by a Mod to publicly post the source's name. Criticizing people with no basis just pisses them off. Oh, and I will give them a chance to provide a replacement but I'm not optimistic in light of how very bad the unit is...But IMO you ought to be much more thoughtful before you post BS at a guy who's trying to help...But I could be wrong...jk

^^that's almost an apology from him! heh

but anyway... seriously, i wish we could somehow mold the 03-05 style g35 coupe spoiler to our car. at least something similar.

the current optional spoiler looks like it was taken off a solara and is too rounded for my tastes... i guess it beats the CHROME tho, which is wut i have

The wait for a good affordable aftermarket spoiler continues *sigh*
