question about adding paddle shifters & spoiler...
okay guys, the dealer really hasnt given me a direct answer if they could do this and I don't know if my explaination is correct, so maybe someone can give me a direct answer...
-Is it possible to add paddle shifters? If so, how much?
-In order to add a spoiler, do I need to drill holes in my truck?
-Can they run my third brake light, and install into the spoiler?
my service/parts/sales (lol) advisor told me that it would cost thousands do this job
thanks in advance!

1. Yes. When Jason was at Riverside, he put together a kit to do this
2. Depends on which spoiler, but you'll most likely be using the pre-existing holes
3. Not sure what you mean with that question

Forget the third question, got that answered already lol.
So why the heck did the dealer tell me it will cost me thousands to do this process? Has anyone done this or have anywhere in mind in the southern cal area?

Well, it depends if you do it yourself, since most of the money will be going to labor. Both parts alone (spoiler + paddles) will run you about $500 if you buy it online (not sure if the paddles will work or not.. might want to email them about it ). As for the spoiler, they're probably thinking of the OEM spoiler and not an aftermarket one and the OEM installation will run you a grand alone according to Riverside (spoiler, paint, brake light, and labor). With all that being said, doing it yourself will be the best way to go.

Ill try and see if there's a way to copy over the thread to here and we'll put it in the DIY section over here.

ehhh whats done is done, cant dwell on the past but only look ahead at the future. Hopefully I can get these mods put on from another place besides an Infiniti dealership....
I talked to Jason at Riverside a while ago.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but you wont be able to add paddle shifters to your car....The base model is not prewired for paddle shifters, in other words, you only qualify for paddle shifters if you have auto steering wheel adjustment.
I know this b/c, although my car isnt the base model, it has the journey package...which also, does not come with the automatic steering wheel adjustment.
We would have to spend way too much money to add paddle shifters, unlike the G37's which are already prewired.
